Northvane content redistribution licence

1. What you may do

During your trial and then your subscription, Northvane grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal needs and to pass on to your audience (members, readers, clients), within the audience limit of your plan, the analyses, summaries, widgets, webhook messages, market letters and API content produced by Northvane.

2. Conditions of redistribution

• Every piece of redistributed content keeps the credit "Source: Northvane" and the date of the analysis and, where the format allows, a link to northvane.app. Widgets, Discord or Slack messages and the letter already include it: do not remove it.
• Any change, cut or summary of an analysis is flagged as such; altered content is never presented as produced by Northvane.
• No resale, no sublicensing, no making our content available to a third party as a database, API or feed.
• No storage beyond 24 hours, except the archive of your own letters sent.
• Raw market data (prices, volumes) is not part of the licence: only our analyses and summaries may be redistributed.
• No use of our content to train an artificial-intelligence model.

3. Your obligations as a disseminator

• Our content may include investment recommendations within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 596/2014 (art. 20). By passing them on, you act as a disseminator (Delegated Regulation 2016/958, art. 8 to 10): you identify yourself, identify Northvane as the producer and flag any change.
• If you are a financial adviser or carry out a regulated activity, you remain solely responsible for the suitability of your recommendations for each client; our content is one source of information among others.
• You never present our content as guaranteed "signals", winning alerts or a promise of gain.

4. Nature of the content

Northvane content is general financial information, produced by automated tools and dated; it is not personalised investment advice. Our methodology, measured results and conflicts of interest are published on the Methodology page.

5. Third-party data

Some data comes from licensed providers. Where a provider's licence requires it, Northvane may withdraw a data point from its widgets, API or messages; this is not a breach.

6. Term and end

The licence lasts as long as your trial or subscription. At the end, company access is switched off; you remove the widgets and stop any redistribution within 15 days.

7. Liability

Northvane has an obligation of means and guarantees neither the accuracy nor the performance of the analyses. Except for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, its liability is capped at the amounts paid over the last 12 months. You hold Northvane harmless against any claim arising from redistribution that does not comply with this licence.

8. Changes to the licence

A new version is shown in your company space and must be accepted to keep redistributing. The version in force is always the one on this page.

9. Governing law

French law. Failing an amicable settlement within 30 days, the courts with jurisdiction over Northvane's registered office are competent.
